Thank you Turner, my wonderful fuzz bucket, punk puppy baby boy. Everyday you were my best friend, exuberant for life, enjoying all the pleasures of jumping in creeks with your amazing agility and zest for chasing tennis balls, walks, car rides, visiting Grandma, playing with your siblings and loving life. Turner had such gentle and peaceful eyes, warm snuggles and magical kisses. Turner was so smart, a brilliant mix of his Great Pyrenees Mom and Border Collie Dad. Turner was one of 10 puppies born on a Colorado Eastern Farm. The farmer was able to find 2 puppies a home and was planning on “getting rid” of the other 8 puppies. For only a miracle can explain how Allpets Clinic’s Dr. Alice Seigal and my Co-Manger, CVT and friend Jaime Turner found these 8 remaining puppies, bringing them to our Clinic in Boulder. I fell in love with 1 puppy and Dr. Seigal and Jaime Turner gave him to me as a Christmas Present – My Turner, my new puppy, I rejoiced that my ball of fluff, this adorable little guy was my new blessing, such a gift. Turner was our big brother, he took care of us all and he was always ready to play or snuggle, every night with a good night kiss and every day by my side. Turner was a wonderful sibling to his sister Mikahla (memorialized on page 7), with Spyder (also memorialized here) and with all of his other siblings. Turner was a friend to all, yet he would not let you enter unless you were allowed. He was a great protector for us too. Turner was given a cancer diagnosis years ago, with massive tumors that no one was able to surgically remove. We took the stance to enjoy life and found great nutrition and caring friends with all the love to live every day. Turner was regal, enjoying his grooming and knowing that he looked great. Each day came with his bounding joy and love. Turner’s sibling Ish’Tah, who is twice the size of his grand 80#, would stand to let Turner lean on her, she would help Turner walk and she would stand with Turner when he fell and help him up. Turner fought an amazing fight to not give up until his body gave up on him. Turner was no longer able to crush the arthritis, cancer, and heart issues that ravished my incredible boy. April 18th was my turn to be Turner’s best friend. Turner is with his Grandma and siblings, all with peace and no more pain. I am grateful for every day that Turner will always be in my heart. I love you Turner. Thank you Dr. Cooney, Dr. Michelle – your compassion is grand and comfort during this terrible time is immense and is appreciated. Thank you Turner, Love, Mah, Ish’Tah and your family and friends!
